Use of Our Services 

Heron House provides classes, events, memberships, retail products, and space reservations centered around mahjong and community gathering. By using our services, you agree to provide accurate, current information, use our offerings for lawful purposes only, and respect our space, staff, and fellow guests. We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate access at our discretion for those who do not demonstrate such behavior.

Bookings, Events & Reservations 

All class, event, and table reservations must be booked through our website or approved channels. Availability is limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis. We reserve the right to modify schedules, instructors, or event details as needed. Private events require a deposit to secure booking, and final headcounts and details must be confirmed within the agreed timeline.

Payments & Pricing 

All prices are listed in USD and are subject to change without notice. Payment is due at the time of booking or purchase unless otherwise specified. We accept approved payment methods including cash and credit card.  

Cancellations & Refunds 

Class and event cancellations must be made within the stated cancellation window to receive credit or a refund. Late cancellations or no-shows may result in forfeiture of payment. Membership fees are generally non-refundable unless otherwise stated. Heron House reserves the right to cancel or reschedule events, in which case refunds or credits will be provided.

Memberships 

Membership benefits, pricing, and availability are subject to change. By enrolling, you agree that memberships are non-transferable unless explicitly stated, and recurring memberships will auto-renew monthly until canceled. Founding or promotional memberships may include special terms specific to the offer. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue membership programs with reasonable notice.

Retail Purchases 

All product sales are subject to availability. Returns or exchanges made within 14 days of original purchase must comply with our posted return policy. Returned items must be unused and in original condition unless defective.

Studio Conduct & Assumption of Risk 

Guests are expected to treat others with respect and courtesy and follow all posted rules and staff guidance. By entering our premises or participating in activities, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation and agree that Heron House is not liable for injuries, losses, or damages except where required by law.

Alcohol & Refreshments 

Alcohol may be available for purchase or consumption where permitted by law. By consuming alcohol on our premises, you confirm you meet all legal age requirements and agree to drink responsibly.

Intellectual Property 

All content on our website, branding, materials, and in-studio designs are the property of Heron House Mahjong and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without written permission.

Photography & Media 

We may photograph or record events and spaces for marketing purposes. By attending, you grant Heron House permission to use your image or likeness in promotional materials unless you notify us otherwise in writing.

Limitation of Liability 

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Heron House Mahjong shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our services, website, or premises.

Privacy 

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect and use personal information.

Changes to Terms 

We may update these Terms & Conditions periodically. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
